Having worked in various management roles, helped set up a Marketing Unit for N Ireland in the recently privatised British Telecom (1984) and worked in the unit heading the market analysis team. Became a director of BT Ireland with responsibility for marketing and customer services and as part of the role led the companies community support projects and also was board champion for introduction of diversity ideals within the company. Was on the council of N Ireland Chamber of Commerce & Industry, board of NSPCC which launched the ‘full stop’ campaign and also worked with other bodies such as CoOperation Ireland.
Since leaving BT have had a number of marketing consultancy roles for various clients. Now retired and enjoying sailing, socialising and watching Crusaders FC.
